腎臓は体内にある2つの臓器で、血液をきれいにし、尿を作って老廃物を排出します。

臓器として話すときは通常複数形（腎臓）を使います。医療・健康関係（例:『腎臓病』『腎臓移植』『腎臓提供』）でよく使います。「キドニービーンズ」（豆）とは別です。
