어떤 것이 완전히 고장나거나 더 이상 쓸 수 없을 때 쓰는 말입니다. 주로 농담이나 과장해서 사용합니다.

'Kaput'는 농담이나 아주 심하게 망가졌을 때 많이 씁니다. 전자기기나 상황, 계획 등에 두루 쓸 수 있고, 공식적인 글에서는 잘 쓰지 않습니다.
