記念祭ジュビリー

Definition

記念祭やジュビリーは、設立や即位などの重要な出来事からの25年・50年など節目となる周年を祝う式典や行事です。

『銀婚式（25年）』や『金婚式（50年）』のような節目の年や、公的な式典で使われます。日常的な誕生日や記念日には使いません。

The school held a jubilee to mark its 50th anniversary.
