驚きや強調を表すスコットランド英語の感嘆詞で、「gosh」「gee」と似た穏やかな驚きを表します。主にスコットランドで使われます。

スコットランド以外ではほとんど使われません。「あら」「まぁ」などで自然な驚きを表せます。どんな状況でも安心して使えます。
