一種表達方式,通過說與實際意思相反的話,通常帶有幽默或強調效果。也可以指結果與預期完全不同的情境。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
“irony”可指語言上的反諷(如說反話),也可指情境諷刺(結果和預期完全相反)。常與“coincidence”(巧合)或“bad luck”(倒黴)混淆。語氣多為正式或中性,形容詞為“ironic”。文學和日常會話皆常使用。
