شخص أو جهة تضع المال في مشروع أو عقار بهدف تحقيق الربح.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يستخدم في مجالات الأعمال، والمالية، والعقارات. من الشائع قول 'مستثمر خاص' أو 'مستثمر أجنبي' أو 'مستثمر طويل الأجل'. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'مخترع' (inventor).
