Colocar dinheiro, tempo ou recursos em algo, como ações, negócios ou projetos, com o objetivo de obter lucro ou benefício no futuro.
Usage Notes (Portuguese (PT))
Normalmente refere-se a atividades financeiras, como comprar ações ou imóveis ('investing in stocks'). Também pode ser usado de forma mais ampla ('investing time/energy in algo'). Mais formal do que 'spending on'. Não confundir com 'investigar' (examinar).
