তদন্ত হচ্ছে এমন একটি প্রক্রিয়া যেখানে কোনো ঘটনা, সমস্যা বা অপরাধের তথ্য, কারণ বা সত্য খুঁজে বের করার চেষ্টা করা হয়। সাধারণত পুলিশ, সংবাদকর্মী বা বিজ্ঞানীরা এটি পরিচালনা করেন।
