Definition

‘পরিচয়’ বলতে একে অন্যকে নাম ও পরিচয় জানানো বোঝায়, আবার কোনো বই, বক্তৃতা বা অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে বিষয় সম্পর্কে ব্যাখ্যা করাও বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সামাজিক ও ব্যবসায়িক পরিসরে 'পরিচয়' ব্যবহার হয়; বই বা বক্তৃতার শুরুতে 'ভূমিকা'। নতুন পণ্য ও পরিষেবার জন্য এটি নয়। 'make introductions' মানে পরিচয় করিয়ে দেয়া।
