যারা জ্ঞানচর্চা, চিন্তা বা গবেষণায় নিয়োজিত এবং সমাজ, সাহিত্য, দর্শন বা বিজ্ঞান ক্ষেত্রের অগ্রগামী ব্যক্তি।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘বুদ্ধিজীবী’ শব্দটি সাধারণত শিক্ষিত, চিন্তাশীল ও সমাজে প্রভাবশালী ব্যক্তিদের বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'Public intellectual', 'intellectual elite'-এর মতো শব্দগুলোতে ব্যবহার হয়। কেবল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষকদের জন্য নয়।
