指示指導

Definition

指示とは、何かのやり方を説明したり、何かをするように命じたりする文や言葉です。手順や命令の意味で使われます。

複数形で使うとき（instructions）は手順全体、一つだけなら命令や一つの指示を意味します。「follow the instructions」のような表現に注意しましょう。教育（教育）とは異なります。

Please read the instructions before starting the test.

テストを始める前に**指示**を読んでください。

The teacher gave us clear instructions for the homework.

先生は宿題のために分かりやすい**指示**をくれました。

Follow the instructions on the box to build the toy.

箱の**指示**に従っておもちゃを組み立ててください。
