「指示」是告訴你如何做某事的說明，也可以指命令。可表示步驟說明或指令。

「instruction」多用於複數（instructions）表示一系列步驟，單數則多指單一指令或命令。常見片語有“follow the instructions”（照說明做）。勿與「education」（教育）混淆。
