ধৃষ্টতা বা বেয়াদবি হল এমন আচরণ, যেখানে কেউ কারো প্রতি বিশেষত কর্তৃপক্ষের প্রতি অসম্মান দেখায় বা অশিষ্ট ভাষায় কথা বলে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
‘Insolence’ সাধারণত ফরমাল কথাবার্তায় ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন ‘শিক্ষকের প্রতি ধৃষ্টতা’। এটি সরাসরি অপমান (‘insult’) নয়, বরং ব্যবহার বা আচরণকে বোঝায়।
