Definition

무엇에 대해 아주 희미하게 짐작하거나 예감하는 것, 명확하거나 확실하지 않을 때 사용됨.

주로 격식 있거나 문학적으로 사용되고, 'no inkling'처럼 부정문에서 자주 나옵니다. 'have an inkling', 'give an inkling' 식으로 써요. 'hint'보다는 더 미묘하고 약한 느낌.

I had no inkling that you were planning a party.

네가 파티를 준비하고 있다는 **눈치**도 못 챘어.
