Definition

物事や状況がやりにくい、困難や不便さを感じさせるときに使います。

カジュアルでもフォーマルでも使われます。特に「不便な時間」「不便な場所」など、場所や時間を修飾する表現でよく使います。問題が大きすぎる時には別の語も使われます。

The meeting was scheduled at an inconvenient time for everyone.

会議はみんなにとって**不便な**時間に予定されていました。

This store's location is very inconvenient for me.

この店の場所は私にとってとても**不便**です。

It would be inconvenient to bring all these bags by bus.
