Definition
アイデンティティとは、その人やグループを他と区別する特徴や信念などを指します。また、身元を証明する公的記録を指す場合もあります。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「identities」は社会学や公的な話題、個人や文化の話でよく使われます。「multiple identities」「stolen identities」「digital identities」などと組み合わせて用いられます。「identification」（身分証明書）とは違います。
