從冰川或冰架斷裂並漂浮在海上的大型冰塊。冰山的大部分隱藏在水面下，只有很小一部分露出水面。

除了指實體冰山外，還可比喻事物的表面現象（如“冰山一角”）。一般用單數，很少複數。
