空気中に水分が多く含まれていて、蒸し暑く感じる状態のこと。

「humid」は主に天気や室内の空気について使われ、物の表面にはあまり使いません。「humid climate」「humid air」「hot and humid」などでよく使います。「wet（濡れている）」や「damp（少し湿っている）」とは区別しましょう。
