ऐसे वातावरण या मौसम को व्यक्त करने के लिए, जिसमें अधिक नमी या जल वाष्प होता है, जिससे अक्सर गर्मी और चिपचिपापन महसूस होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Humid' का इस्तेमाल मुख्य रूप से मौसम या घर के अंदर की हवा के लिए होता है, सतह के लिए नहीं। आम वाक्यांशः 'humid climate', 'humid air', 'hot and humid'। इसे 'wet' (भीगा हुआ) या 'damp' (थोड़ा गीला) से न मिलाएं।
