家一軒家

Definition

人が住む建物で、通常は家族や少人数のグループのためのもの。家庭や家族そのものを指す場合もあります。

「大きい」「小さい」「自分の」「新しい」「古い」などの形容詞とよく使います。「home」とは違い、物理的な建物としての意味が強いです。

I live in a small house near the park.

私は公園の近くの小さな**家**に住んでいます。

Their new house has three bedrooms.
