人やメディアに絶えず追われたり、いやがらせを受けたりすること。本来は狩猟犬に追いかけられる意味から転じた表現。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に受動態（「〜に追い回された」など）で使い、望まないしつこい注目や圧力を表す。友好的な追跡には使わない。ややフォーマルまたは大げさな響きがある。
