地面や海と空が出会う線のことです。また、知識や経験の限界を比喩的に表す言葉でもあります。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「地平線」は風景や自然の描写で使われることが多いです。比喩として「視野を広げる（broaden your horizons）」のようにも使います。「skyline」とは意味が違います。
