Definition

フープは輪の形をした物で、スポーツ（バスケットボールのゴールなど）やおもちゃ、または物をまとめるために使われます。ピアスの形にも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

スポーツでは「basketball hoop」、おもちゃでは「hula hoop」など。アクセサリーでは「hoop earrings」。『loop』とは意味が違うので注意。
