他の人の分まで何かを自分だけで多く使ったり取ったりすること。よく食べ物やスペース、物などについて使われる。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に口語で使われ、フォーマルな文書では使わない。食べ物や場所、リモコンなど日常の物に対してよく使う。「hogging the TV」「hogging the bathroom」のような言い方になる。
