ここへ（古風な表現）

Definition

「ここへ」「この場所へ」という意味の古語であり、詩や古い文学、または劇的な場面で使われます。

現代日本語の日常会話では使われず、詩的または舞台風な表現でのみ見かけます。「thither」「yonder」と対で登場することも多いです。

Come hither, child, and sit with me.

**ここへ**おいで、子よ、私と一緒に座りなさい。

The dog ran hither and thither in the garden.

その犬は庭を**ここへ**やあちらへと走り回った。

They brought the treasure hither by night.

彼らは夜に宝物を**ここへ**運んできた。
