Definition

見えない場所にあったり、見つけにくいもの。秘密やすぐにわからないことも指す。

多くの場合形容詞で使う：'a hidden door', 'hidden costs', 'hidden talent'。「hidden」は意図的に隠されたイメージ、「invisible」は見えないという意味。比喩的にも現実的にもよく使う。

The key was hidden under the mat.

鍵はマットの下に**隠されて**いた。
