一羣同類動物，通常指像牛、大象或羊這樣的大型動物，生活在一起並一起移動。“herds”是“herd”的複數形式。

主要用於大型羣居動物（如牛或大象）。常見搭配有“herds of cattle”（牛羣）、“herds of elephants”（象羣）。不適用於小動物。不要與“flocks”（通常指鳥或部分地區的羊羣）混淆。正式中性；用於人時通常只是比喻。
