"herd" in Turkish
Definition
Aynı türden, genellikle sığır, koyun veya fil gibi hayvanların oluşturduğu büyük topluluk. Fiil olarak ise hayvanları veya insanları topluca bir yere yönlendirmek anlamına gelir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
En çok hayvanlar için kullanılır: 'a herd of cattle'. Kuş ve balıklar için farklı sözcükler ('flock', 'school') tercih edilir. Fiil olarak yönlendirme veya topluca hareket ettirme anlamı taşır.
