血腫とは、けがや打撲などで血管の外に血液がたまり、腫れや変色を引き起こす状態です。

専門用語ですが、日常会話でも医師や患者が使うことがあります。'あざ'よりも深い部分や大きな血液の塊に使い、治療が必要なことも。よく使う表現：'皮下血腫'、'大きな血腫'、'血腫を治療する'など。
