Definition

ヘリコプターは、上部の回転する羽で垂直に離着陸したり、その場にとどまったりできる航空機です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「ヘリコプター」は単数・複数形の区別がありません。よく「着陸する」「飛ぶ」「救助する」などの動詞と一緒に使います。「飛行機」とは異なる意味です。
