Definition
Personas que tienen el derecho legal de recibir la propiedad, el dinero o el título de alguien que ha fallecido. A veces se usa de manera más general para quienes continuarán la labor o posición de alguien.

'Heirs' se usa de manera formal o legal, especialmente en testamentos y asuntos de herencia. 'Sole heir' es 'heredero único.' A veces se usa en sentido figurado para sucesores fuera del contexto familiar. No confundir con 'heiress,' que solo se refiere a mujeres.
