低木が生い茂る開けた未耕作地で、主にヨーロッパに見られる地形です。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
イギリス文学や自然描写で使われることが多く、日本では馴染みが薄い言葉です。'heather'（ヒースの植物）とは別です。
