"heartbeat" in Spanish
Definition
El movimiento o sonido regular que hace el corazón al bombear sangre. También puede referirse a que algo ocurre muy rápido en algunas expresiones.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa literalmente para hablar del corazón o en sentido metafórico ('en un abrir y cerrar de ojos': 'in a heartbeat'). Expresiones comunes: 'sentir el latido del corazón', 'el latido se aceleró'. No confundir con 'pulso'.
