治る癒す

Definition

けがや病気が治って健康な状態に戻ること。また、誰かや何かを健康にすること。心の傷が時間をかけて回復する意味でも使う。

自動詞と他動詞として両方使われる（例：'The cut healed'、'This cream heals cuts'）。'heal quickly'や'emotionの回復'などにもよく使う。感情の場合、時間がかかるイメージ。

The cut will heal in a few days.

その切り傷は数日で**治ります**。

This medicine can heal the skin.

この薬は肌を**治す**ことができます。

It takes time to heal after an illness.

病気のあと**治る**には時間がかかります。

She's still trying to heal from what happened last year.

彼女は今も昨年の出来事から**癒されようとしています**。

Some wounds heal, but the scars stay.

治る**傷**もあるが、跡は残る。
