عادةً ما يُستخدم في المواقف غير الرسمية وللأشياء المادية فقط. 'Handing over' أكثر رسمية أو رسمية. تراكيب شائعة: 'handing out papers'، 'handing in homework'، 'handing someone a pen'. يُستخدم فقط للأشياء الملموسة.
