Han通常指中國的主要民族。 在歷史語境中，它也可以指同名的中國朝代或地區。

最常見於 'Han Chinese' 和 'Han dynasty' 這類搭配中。它是專有名詞，首字母要大寫。不要在所有語境裡把它當作所有中國人的統稱，因為中國有很多民族。
