Definition

ভ্রম হলো এমন অভিজ্ঞতা যেখানে কেউ এমন কিছু দেখে, শোনে বা অনুভব করে, যা আসলে নেই। এগুলো যে কোনো ইন্দ্রিয়কে প্রভাবিত করতে পারে এবং সাধারণত কোনো শারীরিক বা মানসিক অসুস্থতার লক্ষণ।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'ভ্রম' মূলত চিকিৎসা ও মনোবিজ্ঞানে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ কথোপকথনে কম ব্যবহৃত, কিন্তু অতিরঞ্জিত অর্থে বলাও হয়। 'দৃষ্টিভ্রম' বা 'শ্রুতিভ্রম' প্রচলিত। 'ইলিউশন'-এর (ভুল ব্যাখ্যা) সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলো না।
