Definition

幻覚とは、実際には存在しないものを見たり、聞いたり、感じたりすることで、病気や薬、精神的な原因で起こることが多いです。

主に医学、心理学、科学の分野で使われます。「visual hallucination」「auditory hallucination」「hallucinations に苦しむ」などの表現があります。「illusion（錯覚）」と混同しないように注意してください。
