Definition

建物内にある大きな部屋や広い廊下で、イベントや集まり、部屋同士をつなぐ場所として使われることが多いです。

「school halls」「concert halls」のようにイベント会場や廊下を指す。イギリス英語では「halls」は寮（halls of residence）の意味でも使われます。
