人をだまして不当に金を取る行為や、そのような不公平・詐欺的なこと。

'Gyp'は古く差別的だから避けて使い、『詐欺』『ぼったくり』などの言葉が一般的。'get gypped'は「騙される」という意味。

I felt like it was a gyp when the phone broke after one day.
