「gunned」は銃を撃ったことや、（車などで）アクセルを強く踏み込んだことを表します。

警察や犯罪など、撃つという状況でよく使います。また、「gunned the engine」は一気に加速する時に使われます。「銃を持っている」意味ではなく、行為そのものを表します。
