保護者守護者

Definition

他人の世話や保護を法律的・公式に任されている人たち。特に子供や自分で自分を守れない人に使います。また、広い意味で守る人や保護者にも用いられます。

主に正式・法律的な文脈で使われます（例：'legal guardians'＝法定保護者）。'parents'（親）とは異なりますが、親が保護者になる場合もあります。比喩的に「守る人」、「〇〇の守護者」とも使われます。

The guardians signed the school's permission form.

Children without parents are cared for by their guardians.

親のいない子供たちは**保護者**に世話をされます。
