成長する育てる

Definition

時間が経つにつれて大きくなったり、年を取ったり、発達したりすることを表します。また、数量が増えることや、人が植物を育てることも意味します。

'grow up'は「大人になる」、'grow into'は「成長して〜になる」、'grow + 形容詞'は「だんだん〜になる」例：'grow tired'（疲れてくる）。植物や子供では自然に育つ意味が強く、食べ物や花では「育てる」意味もある。

The baby grows very fast.
