土撥鼠是一種生活在北美的小型毛茸茸的動物，會在地下挖洞，也稱為「woodchuck」。

在北美很有名，英文 'groundhog' 和 'woodchuck' 都是指同一種動物。美國有“土撥鼠日（Groundhog Day）”，與預測天氣有關。不要和地鼠（gopher）混淆。
