Definition
Esmagar ou quebrar algo em pedaços muito pequenos ou em pó, normalmente esfregando entre duas superfícies duras. Informalmente, também pode significar trabalhar duro por muito tempo, especialmente em algo repetitivo ou cansativo.

'Grind' é usado literalmente (comida, máquinas) e informalmente ('daily grind', 'grind through homework' para esforço repetitivo). Na gíria, 'grinding' é comum em jogos e carreiras. Não confundir com 'ground' (passado) ou 'grinder' (moedor).
