挽くすり潰す頑張って続ける（スラング）

Definition

何かを2つの堅い面でこすって細かくしたり粉にすること。カジュアルな場面では、単調で大変な作業を一生懸命続ける意味もある。

挽く・すり潰すは料理や道具など物理的なすりつぶしで使う。スラングでは、'grind through homework'や'grind'は地道にやり続けるイメージ。

Please grind the coffee beans before you make coffee.

コーヒーを入れる前にコーヒー豆を**挽いて**ください。
