「グルメ」は高品質な食べ物や飲み物に詳しく、それを楽しむ人、または高級で味わい深い料理を指します。

名詞（美食家）や形容詞（グルメ料理）の両方として使う。ややフォーマル・広告によく出る。「gourmand」（大食い）とは違う。例:「グルメレストラン」「グルメチョコ」など。
