Definition
「ゴスペル」とは、キリスト教の教え、特にイエスの生涯を書いた聖書の4つの書、または力強い歌声のキリスト教音楽のスタイルを指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
宗教的な場面や音楽の話でよく使われます。「gospel music」はゴスペル音楽を指します。比喩的に「絶対的な真実」としても使われます（「take it as gospel」）。
