Definition

ガチョウは首が長く、アヒルよりも大きい水鳥です。オスもメスも指すことがあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

複数形は 'geese' です。 'gooses' とは言いません。 'silly goose' はふざけて使う表現で、'What's good for the goose is good for the gander' はことわざです。アヒルやハクチョウと混同しないように気をつけてください。
