Definition
Çocuğun dini veya manevi rehberi olması için seçilen kadın, genellikle vaftiz töreninde. Bazen etkili bir kadın mentor ya da destekçi için de kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Korean)
Çoğunlukla Hristiyan geleneklerinde vaftiz sırasında kullanılır. 'modern dansın vaftiz annesi' gibi mecazi ifadelerde güçlü kadın destekçiyi anlatır. 'godfather' (erkek) ile karıştırmayın.
